Simple Past 

• The "simple past" is used to talk about an action that finished in a previous to the current time.

Form:

(Verb + d )    or  (irregular verb)

            ed

           ied

           

Examples:

• You called Debbie.
• Did you call Debbie?
• You did not call Debbie.
